Exterior

Silverado’s come in regular, extended, and crew cab body styles and buyers can choose three lengths for each of these, which are referred to as Short Box (1.76m), Standard Box (2m) and Long Box (2.4m). 

You can then choose from rear wheel drive or four wheel drive, a V8 petrol in 4.8L, 5.3L or 6.0L sizes or the powerful  6.6L V8 Turbo Diesel.

While you have the choice of 195hp Vortec 4.3L V6, 315hp Vortec 5.3L V8, 302hp Vortec 4.8L V8 and 403hp Vortec 6.2L engines, The real strength of the Silverado lies in its towing capacity - This Silverado 1500 has a tow rating of up to 3,600kg!

 

Safety

Stabilitrack Electronic stability control system is standard to the 1500 ls, lt ltz and v8 wt models. The system applies brake pressure and if necessary, adjusts engine torque to help the driver get the vehicle back on track and under control.

Further to this, an automatic passenger sensing air bag system activates dual stage frontal and head curtain airbags in the event of an emergency.
